Battle of Mondovi

Arc de Triomphe: MONDOVI
April 21, 1796
As General Bonaparte's Army of Italy had successfully separated and defeated their enemies, General Sérurier pursued and defeated the Piedmontese forces commanded by General Colli. This victory knocked Piedmont out of the war, with General Bonaparte having accomplished in a few weeks what other generals had been unable to do over years of war.
