May 17, 1794 - May 18, 1794
The French Army of the North, temporarily commanded by General Souham, met an Allied army of Austrians and British commanded by Prince Josias von Coburg and the Duke of York. After two days of fighting, the Allies withdrew but the French did not pursue them.
